Hello to everyone who edits the AKB48 Wiki. I greatly appreciate your support and work that you do.

I wanted to post a quick announcement about unneccessary content since I've been seeing it a lot, especially on JKT48 and BNK48 member pages: Starting today, unneccesary content will be removed from pages.

This includes things such as:

• Unneccessary trivia points

• Irrelevant fact points

• Poorly worded sections

This is being done in order to make the wiki look organized, easy to read, and more concise. I hope you understand why these changes are being made.

Someone keeps altering the templates after they've been like that for a while now, so if you see this, I would appreciate it if you would stop. It's very annoying to see my edits changed, especially because they are correct.

Just wanted to let anyone know, the reason why certain members have bolded and italicized names on the templates, is because thats for members who have announced their graduation. So if you see an italicized and bolded name, please don't change it until the member graduates. I'm posting this because I keep seeing it ruined. Thanks!

To whoever is reverting my edits on AKB48's teams, stop. You are putting the wrong teams thus making the info incorrect. The new teams don't come into effect until February 6, 2022. Until then, everyone is in their original teams that they were in prior to the Team Shuffle.
