A concurrent position (兼任, Kennin?) is a position where a member from one of the existing Sister Groups (AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, HKT48, JKT48, and SNH48), including their official rival (Nogizaka46), hold dual membership positions in two different groups and two different teams.

The concurrent position format was first introduced at the Saitama Super Arena Concert.
