- On December 21, 2017, she resigned as Team NII's captain due to the internal troubles they suffered. Huang TingTing also resigned as co-captain.
- In January 2020, it was revealed through a leaked security video that she was in a secret relationship with Produce Camp 2019 contestant Lu Siheng, and had been living with him in his apartment instead of the BEJ48 dormitory.
- She claimed that one of the reasons she accepted the concurrent position in BEJ48 was so she could seek more job opportunities, and that Lu was just a friend. But the person who leaked the video countered this claim by stating that she had been lying to the fans all along and was trying to cover up her actions.
- The fallout from the scandal led to her resigning from both SNH48 and BEJ48.
- In May 2023, she was given a high consumption restriction order after she was ordered to pay 1.2 million RMB (about USD$169,681) in court costs following a a contract dispute with STAR48 earlier in February.
