Flying Get (フライングゲット) is the 22nd major single (24th overall) released by AKB48. It was released in five versions: two limited CD+DVD editions (types A and B), two regular CD+DVD editions (types A and B), and a limited CD-only theater edition. The limited editions came with a national handshake event ticket, while the regular editions came with one of forty photos, and the theater edition came with a large handshake event ticket and random photo. The title track was used as the theme song for the drama Hanazakari no Kimitachi e ~Ikemen☆Paradise~ 2011, featuring members Maeda Atsuko, Kashiwagi Yuki, Ichikawa Miori, Oba Mina and Nagao Mariya.
According to Oricon, the single sold 1,025,952 copies on its first day of release, beating their previous record of highest first-day sales with "Everyday, Katyusha". "Flying Get" is the first single to sell over one million copies on its first day of release. By the end of the week, it had sold 1,354,492 copies to become the single with the highest first-week sales ever.
