- The song was originally chosen by Thea (#17) as the Undergirls Center in the MNL48 2nd General Election. Due to Sayaka's (#5) sudden graduation before the single's release, the ranking from the election was affected with Thea being promoted to the Senbatsu, Emz (#33) to the Undergirls, and Coleen (#18) being the new center of this song.
- This is the only version of Gingham Check which was sung by Undergirls, different from 3 versions from AKB48, JKT48 and BNK48 which were sung by Senbatsu.
