- Nana Okada has always been open about her bisexuality, talking about her relationships with women and men. At the same time, she admitted that she identified as a lesbian during her career in AKB48 and a relationship with a female fan during that time. Currently, according to the aforementioned interview, she is in a relationship with an unnamed man.
- In early 2023, she shared that she suffered from bulimia and binge eating disorders, which began during her time as a AKB48 member. It became so severe that she had to take hiatus from May to June 2016. After moving out of her family home and into her own apartment, she found it easier to moderate her eating habits and was able to start recovering.
