Sakura no Hanaviratachi (MV)

"Sakura no Hanabiratachi" (桜のはなびらたち; Cherry Blossom Petals) is AKB48's indie debut single. The title track was used as the ending theme for the TBS dorama Desu yo ne. and CM song for NTT DoCoMo "Terebi Denwa". The second track, Dear my teacher, was the ending for the TV Asahi variety show Mitake Uranai. This single reached #10 on the weekly Oricon charts, charted for eight weeks and sold 46,274 copies.

Trivia

  • in 2010, an special Sakura no Hanabiratachi 2010 was made but the titled was changed later on. the reason given was that the special version was just going to be sung in a TV show and apparently there were no plans to release or sing this new version in the future.
