- As of March 25, 2020 she is the reporter for the corner "Fashion News Kiterune!" of the Nippon TV program "ZIP!", alongside former SKE48 member Goto Rara.
- The "mother" of Miipan Family, a unit consisting of herself, Hamagishi Hiyori, Kawata Hina, and Yamaguchi Haruyo. The four have a LINE group together, and Mirei is known for being motherly towards the others.
- She is particularly close with Hamagishi Hiyori. On a segment on HINABINGO!, she chose Hiyori as her ideal little sister and Hiyori chose her as her ideal big sister
