- Ironically, aside from being a 5th Generation AKB48 she also became the Center for the 32nd AKB48 Single through the 5th AKB48 General Election Selection.
- Some fans would often mistake her for Kitarie, and vice-versa.
- Her oshimen are Sato Yukari and Ota Aika
- Is known for her knowledge of wotagei, as well as being a wota herself
- Her favourite idol is Sato Masaki of Morning Musume '21.
- She wrote a letter in 2005 to her favourite Berryz Koubou member Kumai Yurina. Yurina kept the letter and in 2012, she showed the letter to Sashihara, showing that she had the letter for all that time.

Oide Shampoo PV
- Made a cameo appearance in Nogizaka46's controversial Oide, Shampoo PV as the only faculty member who stayed in the office and wasn't attacked by the students (portrayed by Nogizaka46's Senbatsu). Therefore it made her the 2nd AKB member to work with Nogizaka in a PV, after Maeda Atsuko.
- Ironically, Oide Shampoo is also Nogizaka46's single involved in their showdown competition against each other when Sashihara released her debut single Soredemo Sukidayo.
- She went to former Morning Musume's Tanaka Reina's Graduation Concert.
- Former member of Culture Club

- Snow Man's Watanabe Shota was her highschool classmate, and Yakata Miki was her elementary school classmate.
