      • Her first catchphrase was "Akarui Ongaku wo Kikoetekitara, akane machuri wa Hajimari! Akane machuri wa churi! Churi!" (When you are able to hear bright music, it’s the beginning of Akane festival! Akane festival is Churi! Churi!). The catchphrase incorporated the meanings of both of the kanji in her name, "bright" (明) and "sound" (音)
    • Publicly asked Akimoto Yasushi to write an original stage for Team KII during her acceptance speech after ranking in the AKB48 22nd Single Senbatsu Sousenkyo. The stage was delayed several times even after Akane asked directly
