- Both attended the 2nd Generation auditions together and even wore matching outfits. Yang, however, did not pass the 2nd Generation auditions. The following year, Yang did pass the 3rd Generation auditions and was able to debut with Team HII. Since joining, Yi and Yang's friendship has been very apparent, with the two often cosplaying and filming dance covers together.
